10 Years of Great Care! Sunnybank House celebrates 10 years of delivering excellent care in the community
It was a weekend of celebration for all those at Sunnybank House Care Home in Eastleigh where residents, team members, families, volunteers, supporters and local businesses got together to recognise 10 years of delivering excellent care and support.
Sunnybank House, part of the Cinnamon Care Collection, opened its doors on Botley Road in September 2014 and during the past 10 years, the team has cared for over 200 residents.
To help celebrate this milestone, John Hunter, the son of the first ever resident 10 years ago, was invited to cut Sunnybank House’s birthday cake along with Anne King, the care home’s newest resident.
John Hunter said, “What a delightful celebration and I am thrilled to see how wonderful the home remains. Dad was very happy here and I always enjoyed visiting the home.”
With live entertainment and plenty of food and drink, the weekend of celebrations was a total success.
James Greene, General Manager of Sunnybank House said, “I was delighted to see so many visitors this weekend to join us in our celebrations. Without all the support from our local community and the amazing team and volunteers we have here, this would not have been possible. I am really very proud!’
